Scotchtails was founded by two university students, Oliver Hiam and Dominic Hamdy in 2013. The were both scotch eggs fanatic and decided to make their own, starting from traditional pork to chorizo, black pudding, tomato etc. Not only they are adventurous but they make sure they use the highest quality of ingredients.

I have heard so much about Scotchtails ever since I have came back to london. It did not disappoint. The scotch egg was fresh and steaming hot. was glad I queued, or I would have missed this little gem out. The crust was crispy, and guess what? the egg yolk was gooey in the middle. How perfect can this be? I was lucky enough to get the Chorizo scotch egg as this was their special this week, their special changes every week. It was served with rocket salad which is the best partner in crime with these jewels. They even do sweet potato fries!
No service as it is in Borough market. you queue up, order, pay and eat your food!

It lived up to the expectations. The scotch egg was fresh, crispy and I loved the egg yolk, so gooey but not runny!
