I really enjoyed having my birthday meal with my family, I would have enjoyed it more if we had it on 2nd floor – Francesco by Franck Muller, as it is lot more casual, fun and colourful than Eighteen Sharp.  Eighteen Sharp was more sophisticated with  a few tables only, it was slightly intimidating for my parents.  However the food from Francesco by Franck Muller was enjoyable and just as delicious as I expected.  We loved the two starters – Hokkaido Octopus Salad, Pickles and Basil Dressing which was extremely fresh and presented.  The Slow cooked Abalone & Japanese Daikon was my favourite, it was a shame I had to share it.  The abalone was juicy and tender and the Japanese daikon was extremely soft that  it melted in my mouth.  I had the Slow Cooked Wagyu Beef Cheek for my main, I could taste a hint of spiciness in it which made it even more tasty,it came with Inaniwa Udon on the side which was thick, chewy yet tender and in a creamy dressing.  So delicious.  Starters ranged from 100- 200 hkd and main course were nomore than 300 hkd, which is really reasonable for a restaurant that is away from the buzzling Causeway Bay, yet serving fine dining

Would I go back again? Yes
