I was lucky enough to get a table here on a Friday night.  It is newly opened and sits in the heart of Noho, Sheung Wan’s own Soho.  Not easy to spot, yet not easy to forget when you get there.  This isn’t your ordinary French bistro, this place is casual and easy going with super friendly services

One thing i found strange was the plates they served food on, these were rather cheap plates which I have seen in random shops in Kowloon, they cost around 20 – 40 hkd.  I know this place is casual, but just didn’t expect these plates to be used here. Nonetheless the food was still great with or without these plates.

  I loved Figaro, and I have been recommending to a few of my friends.  The prices are very reasonable, with no dishes being over 200 hkd, that is absolutely possible now ONLY at Figaro!  The menu is only one page long, but each dish is creative and contemporary, using the freshest ingredients. This isn’t your ordinary French bistro, this is more of a  Fench Tapas place. My favorite dish was Sweet & Sour Lamb Two Ways, Apple & Shiso which was recommended by our server.  I have never had a sweet and sour lamb, have you?  The meat was so tender and juicy, it was incredible, served with the apple and shiso foam which was really interesting.  
  I was skeptical with the dessert at first, they only have two desserts on the menu, and the Poached White Peach, Lemongrass Sorbet, Cardamon Mousse & Smoked Cream definately stood out.  However I wasn’t sure about lemongass wit peach as I am not a big fan of lemongrass and it actually annoys me with that smell when I am in thailand.   Despite that, the dessert was amazing.  At first the first spoon was still strange, but I soon got used to the lemongrass taste and it really complimented the sweet taste of the peaches.  It was a refreshing dessert that really worked well together.  A nice finish to a lovely dinner
Service was 50/50.  When we arrived, they told us to go upstairs, however there was no tables available, so we were made to wait outside in the heat.  they did give us two glasses of bubbles as an apology.  When we finally sat down, service was fast and attentive.

Approximately 600 hkd per person

When the bill came, I was shocked.  It was very reasonable, however then I realized they have forgotten to put the bottle of wine in the bill. So we kindly told them.  The bill came to around 1200 hkd for two people.  I was hoping they would have given me a little discount since I let them know they have undercharged us!
